The Journey

I am often asked how did I come to write this book.  Where did the thought come from?  How did I select the title?

These questions suggest to me there is a desire for a deeper yearning for understanding the depth of what's perceived in the title.

This is Juneteenth week, the time we have come to celebrate the freeing of slaves in Texas - two years after the rest of slaves in the U.S. were informed and released from the title and legal enslavement.

This book continues in the quest of liberty.  Marcus Garvey said, "A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture, is like a tree without roots."

The roots (truth) of Black Ancestry are revealed in this book.

It is designed to inspire pride, knowledge, reveal truths, dispel mis-truths and misinformation about a people once enslaved through a legal though immoral system.

Pick up your copy of the book today and join me in this astounding and liberating journey.
